8th Teaching & Education Conference, Vienna

International Institute of Social and Economic Sciences organized the 8th Teaching & Education Conference, which was held on September 17 - 20, 2019 in Vienna, Austria, at the Vienna University of Technology - TU Wien.

The conference was co-organized by the University of New York in Prague, and hosted by the Vienna University of Technology - TU Wien.

Keynote speaker Professor Hettie van der Merwe from the University of South Africa, Pretoria, delivered the speech "A Lifebuoy Environment for Successful Learning in Conditions of Multiple
Deprivation: What Are the Basics?".

Two complimentary bus tours to Krems/Altenburg Monastery and Melk Abbey/Durnstein were included for the conference delegates.

Best Paper Award has been conferred by the Program Committee to the author of the best paper presented at the conference.

Submitted papers were double-blind peer-reviewed by our external reviewers, based on originality and technical quality. Accepted and presented papers have been published in the Conference Proceedings on our website. Abstracts were published in the Book of Abstracts.

Proceedings of the 8th Teaching & Education Conference have been included in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI); integrated index within the Web of Science™ Core Collection, Clarivate Analytics.
