TANUSHREE TANUSHREE

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the problems in integration of Moroccan Diaspora in France after the colonisation of France. Moroccans have migrated to France as labourers and soldiers during the World Wars. This led to the formation of Moroccan Diaspora in France. Moroccans had migrated to France during the period of World Wars due to demand of these labourers and workers in France. In the later years as the migration of Moroccans increased to France (family forming migration). It led to the development of massive Moroccan Diaspora in France. As a result, France has the highest population of Moroccan Diaspora. As Moroccans came to France they brought with them their cultural values, which was very different from that of French culture. Due to this factor, the Moroccan Diaspora in France faces a cultural contrast. Even if they are French they are seen as different due to their Moroccan appearance and cultural values. Even if the Moroccan Diaspora tries to perceive themselves as French they are seen as different. This difference is due to their race, culture and appearance. This difference brings about a difficulty in their integration into the French society. The question here comes is that what can be done to make them feel accepted and integrated into French society? This paper will try to provide what future solutions can be provided to deal with the problem of integration of Moroccan Diaspora in France. The paper will try to study the problem of integration through various research materials available.
