Tour event: 09:00 - 18:00
Conference tour to Kotor and Budva

The bus leaves at 9.00 from the conference venue.

We cross the border from Croatia to Montenegro. Please check if you need visa to Montenegro.
Those who need visa to Croatia must have multiple entry visa to Croatia.

Kotor, one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Adriatic, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Old Town was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and it’s a beautiful monument itself.
It is located on the Bay of Kotor called the southern-most fjord in Europe.
Main sights are the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon from 1166, and the ancient walls above the city.
Sea Gate, the main entrance to the town, was constructed in 1555 under Venetian rule.

Budva is one of the oldest towns in the Adriatic. The town walls date from the middle ages, when Venetians ruled there.
Budva’s old town is a labyrinth of the braided streets, squares and towers from the late middle ages.
Main sight is the Church of Sveti Ivan, – a monumental basilica from the VII century.

The tour is non-guided, but accompanied by the IISES team.

Lunch and entrance fees are not included.

We will be back at 18.00. The time of return is approximate and cannot be guaranteed.

Participants who registered for this conference tour will receive a tour voucher at the registration desk.

Children under six years are not allowed on the tour.
